Cities People Love (est. 2020) is a social enterprise organisation dedicated to the creation and curation of urban research that can engage and empower communities to influence policy and practice.

It is focused on advancing public debate and promoting evidence-based decision-making that is in the public interest. It does this by connecting the industry, government, researchers and the community in a shared conversation about the city.

Cities People Love is a not-for-profit social enterprise, initiated by Hodyl & Co, who recognise that solving complex city problems is only possible together. The organisation is supported by a volunteer board and advisory team.

Through its online research platform, Cities People Love works to present important applied urban research and issues in innovative and readily digestible ways to enable a wide audience to understand the challenges and opportunities facing our cities. Research is published on a quarterly basis, guided by an annual research program and industry insights into contemporary urban issues.

Cities People Love has published contributions from a diverse and growing list of local and international researchers, industry professionals and government actors. These are leading voices working to improve our urban environments through evidence-based planning and policy.
